PELCO II joined the Bureau of Fire Protection's (BFP) celebration of Fire Prevention Month 2024 Awareness through a motorcade around the municipality of Guagua, Pampanga. Following this year’s theme “Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa.” The route started at Guagua Fire Station in JASA, San Matias to barangay San Antonio, San Pablo, San Juan, Plaza Burgos, San Juan Nepomuceno and San Miguel Betis. In participation are the members of Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers – Pampanga Chapter, other PELCO II employees, barangay officials and residents of Guagua.
While our focus was on promoting fire safety, we prioritized the welfare of all participants during the motorcade. We adhered to all road laws and regulations, and designated fire fighters marshal to oversee the procession to ensure smooth procession. Reminding everyone to observe safety precautions in order to foster a healthier community. Together, we made a significant impact by empowering our community with the knowledge and resources needed to prevent fires and protect lives. We ignited a culture of safety as we drove towards a future free from the devastation of preventable fires.
