Advisory Enjoining All Distribution Utilities To Implement No Disconnection For Lifeline Customer
PELCO II Advisory
On February 5, 2021, the Department of Energy released an advisory enjoining all Distribution Utilities, including PELCO II, to implement a NO DISCONNECTION POLICY FOR LIFELINE CUSTOMERS.
As assistance to the marginalized sector, PELCO II will implement a NO DISCONNECTION POLICY due to non-payment of bills falling due by March 2021 for lifeline customers. (The ERC-approved lifeline rate for PELCO II is 0-40kWh)
However, those who have the ability and are willing to pay are encouraged to settle their bills at any PELCO II Area Office or accredited payment partners such as Bayad Centers and EC Pay (LBC, Western Union, 7 Eleven, etc.)
